Tim and Meghan went to the Maker Faire in Detorit, MI. There, there were a lot of people who do different kinds of engineering, 3D printing, electronics, and programming. There were six person bicycles that you could ride, a life-sized mouse trap games that you could watch being played, the world's largest 3D printer set up, and a whole lot more! They talked to some people about different types of filliament for 3D printers, and which ones would work best for our robotics team for different parts of our robot. They also brought back some ideas about 3D modeling software that we might be able to use this season, as well as some ideas for different projects for us to lead in the Maker Space we are helping out at. Overall, it was a great experience that our team would reccomend to anyone interested in engineering, electronics, 3D printing, hacking, tinkering, or somebody who is just curious about the whole thing!
